Doringcourt Horse Boarding Stables

and a whole lot more….

Greg Martin

During my early years as a horsewoman I came close to making a decision in the farrier I chose that could have left my trusted friend lame. My inexperience and lack of knowledge in that field led me to choose wisely an experienced and well known farrier who was versatile in his teaching and educated in the different methods required to keep sound the very foundation of these huge animals.

Thus my past led me to a well-rounded and educated farrier. Greg Martin has been shoeing since 1997 and “feels privileged to make his living working with wonderful animals”.

He attended Hill Country Horseshoeing School under Mike Chambers, apprenticed under Ken Huckabee for over two years, and in 2001 became certified by The American Farriers Association. He works with a wide variety of horses from trail riders to dressage and hunter-jumpers. He also participates in educational clinics and is a current member of The Texas Professional Farriers Association. Greg is a trusted friend that I have always been able to count on.
